The upcoming Levy makes up nearly one-fifth of the Bethel School District's total operating budget. These funds are used to support student programs, activities, and services, such as teachers, textboooks, and transportation. Levy dollars help keep class sizes low and provide first-rate learning opportunities for students.
Passage of the Levy on February 9th, 2010 will pay for:
Teachers, textbooks and classroom support
Transportation (including activity buses)
Extracurricular activities (music, sports, drama, etc.)
Security and campus safety
School nurses, librarians and counselors
Educational technology, computers and student records
Grounds, maintenance and custodial services
Utilities and Insurance
…and more!
